Levi’s Adventures
Levi found himself in another predicament this week. We walked over to Whole Foods to pick up a few things for dinner. When I’m in the produce section I try to place the stroller in the middle of the isle so Levi doesn’t add unwanted items to the basket or bring a stack of oranges crashing down but this time my plan failed. Levi couldn’t reach anything but when I turned my back he stood up and reached for the lettuce. To his dismay the stroller went out from under him and he was left completely stretched out, his feet in the stroller and his hands tightly holding the edge of the display. First I rescued him then I couldn’t stop laughing, even the older lady that was close by had a chuckle.
Sharing A Room
This week we moved Conrad from the bassinet in our room to the crib in Levis room. Conrad wasn’t a noisy sleeper or anything but for some reason it feels great to have our room back. Levi seems to like the fact that his brother is with him and doesn’t wake up at night when Conrad cries. The only tricky part is getting Conrad to stop crying and go to sleep before Levi goes to bed. Maybe I should get him on a stricter schedule.
Who Wants to Play Ball?
Last week I was doing some house work, Levi was playing and Conrad was laying on his back. Levi was having a conversation so I turned around to respond to him but I found Levi trying to put a ball in Conrads little hand. Levi was talking to his brother about playing ball. The whole scene is one I will never forget. My boys are so sweet!!
Almost 911
Today for the first time I thought I might have to call 911 or at least the fire department. It started when I heard Levi saying “Uh uh” then a loud cry. I look out on the patio and his head was stuck in between the railings. My heart started pounding as I went to his aid. His head came out pretty easily but I kept thinking of slippery things I could put on his head before calling 911. The whole thing was pretty funny since it wasn’t to serious. I really need to be on my toes now a days.
Levi and Conrad
I swear this wasn’t staged.

Just kidding.
Phone Fun
Every day with Levi brings something new and usually pretty darn cute. This was the case on Sunday. We were just hanging around the house, playing with Levi when he decided to grab my cell phone off the desk. Levi opened it up and began an extensive conversation of which he could only understand. He then proceeded down the hall to his bedroom where he climbed on to his new bed, lounging as he talked. I couldn’t help but smile. What makes it even cuter is the fact that he was imitating Nate.(When Nate’s on the phone for any length of time, he usually ends up on our bed.) It sure makes me realize how much of an example we are to our kids.
Ball
Kristen caught Levi talking in his sleep a couple nights ago. Rustling about in his crib he lifted his head said “ball” and then laid back down, asleep the whole time. I think he was dreaming about playing with me.

Like Father Like Son
Levi’s newest word is coo-kie. When he says it I respond, “yeah, daddy’s cookie; don’t touch.”
