Sharing A Room
This week we moved Conrad from the bassinet in our room to the crib in Levis room. Conrad wasn’t a noisy sleeper or anything but for some reason it feels great to have our room back. Levi seems to like the fact that his brother is with him and doesn’t wake up at night when Conrad cries. The only tricky part is getting Conrad to stop crying and go to sleep before Levi goes to bed. Maybe I should get him on a stricter schedule.
Who Wants to Play Ball?
Last week I was doing some house work, Levi was playing and Conrad was laying on his back. Levi was having a conversation so I turned around to respond to him but I found Levi trying to put a ball in Conrads little hand. Levi was talking to his brother about playing ball. The whole scene is one I will never forget. My boys are so sweet!!
Defective?
In the past 3 or 4 days I have finally gotten out of the house and in the process run into people that are more of an acquaintance than friends. Conversation have been going like this:
Ac: You had your baby! Boy or Girl?
Me: Boy
Ac: How old is he?
Me: Almost 2 weeks
Ac: How big?
Me: 7lb 11oz & 18.5in
Ac: Oh! Thats OK length doesn’t mean much at this age anyway.
I get a little chuckle each time because I wasn’t aware I should be concerned. At least I have some comforting words of wisdom in case I decide to worry.
Levi and Conrad
I swear this wasn’t staged.

Just kidding.
Home at Last
Nate picked Conrad and I up from the hospital around 4:00pm yesterday. It felt great to get out of the hospital room and be home as a family again. Levi seems much more attentive to the baby now that he’s in his own surroundings. He has lots of kisses and pokes for Conrad. (We are working on soft touches) Nate commented this morning that he wished we stayed at the hospital one more night. That should give all you a clue on the amount of sleep we got but after all Conrad is only 2 days old as of 2:00am this morning so we have nothing to complain about. Conrad is a perfect 7lb 11oz, 18.5in baby boy and we love him with all our hearts. Another wonderful gift from God.
