Ummm….I will have to go with the research done at Purdue. It’s only the finest institution of learning in America. It produces some pretty bright individuals. You should check out the research being done in their School of Health Sciences. Outstanding.
Other than that, I don’t know and I really doubt anyone will ever know for sure, either. It will forever remain part of conspiracy, and God knows how much people love to talk about conspiracy.

Uh, NO. The administration has admitted to having the secret facilities and defended their use. They’ve repeatedly sought to create exceptions in any proposed anti-terrorism legislation that specifically excludes the CIA from any rules against torture of any kind in these facilities. I’m not sure what’s so difficult to understand about that.
