Nah, I boycott sites that make you register just to read them. Well, I guess I don’t boycott them so much as just subvert their attempts at requiring registration.
That remindes me of the Legend of the Albatross. It was long long ago. There was a huge flood inTamalpais (San Francisco), you see. The Tamal people were fleeing to higher ground yet despite their effort they were losing ground. When all of a sudden, a huge albatross swooped into the harbor and landed right in the middle of the bay. The people who were being swept to sea swam to the albatross and held on. They climbed on her back and waited for the storm to pass. When the rain subsided and the sun began to shine, the albatross turned to stone.
Then we built a big jail on it and put all the bad guys in the slammer there.
It’s true. I heard it from the mighty Eastward Facing Beaver.
Albatross are quite large.
