The Comets
The Comets came to work today to celebrate the success of Deep Impact. I had other things to do and the event was announced only hours in advance so I missed it, but a freind of mine said it was a great show. One of the band members opened by saying somthing like, “It’s great to be here today, but at my age it’s just great to be.”
The Natural Gas Jazz Band was supposed to come to my work to celebrate a week with no accidents, but they got invited to Live 8 and could not fit us into their schedule. Maybe next time.
